Our 300hour per month V.92 service price has been reduced to $7.99 per month and increased to 325 hours per month.
We are pleased to announce that we have added Sprint to our 300hr. V.92 service. This increases the coverage to 7985 POP's on this $8.99 per month plan.
This morning, Microsoft has released a number of security updates for Windows XP. These updates remove the username and password from a user's dialup connection and therefore prevent access. The solution is to simply re-enter the username and password into the connection settings.
We have added 600 new POPs to the $6.99 400hr/mo service, all on the West Coast. These numbers are all V.92. This brings that network's total POPs over 3000. This is our best priced network, so check the new city list and save some money.
We are pleased to announce that we have significantly upgraded our news(usenet) service. We now provide more than 67,000 newsgroups, up from 38,000; and we have increased our online retention to 30 days. Effective Monday, March 1, the news server will require authentication by username and password, rather than just by IP as before. To add authentication on OE, go to Tools, Accounts, News, Properties, Server and check "This server requires me to log in". You can use any valid email username (the part before the @ sign in your email address) and password.
For those of you who have asked to pay by check, you must sign up by credit card for automated setup. Once setup, email us with your order number and login. Ask to switch to check/M.O. payments and we will cancel the credit card subscription and send payment info.
